The Shimano SLX low-profile reel features a HAGANE Body and brass gearing, giving anglers premium Shimano technology without breaking the bank. The brass gears inside the SLX’s compact HAGANE Body deliver reliable cranking power and smoothness. The SLX low-profile reel incorporates a compact design comparable to a 70-sized reel, but the reel’s 150-sized spool has enough capacity for 135 yards of 30-pound PowerPro to provide anglers needed line capacity. A longer 45mm handle offers added power and works in conjunction with the three available gear ratios — 6.3:1, 7.2:1 (HG) and 8.2:1 (XG) — to allow anglers to find a model that meets their desired fishing style by working baits slow and methodical with the 6.3:1 option, or with pure speed to cover water quickly utilizing the 8.2:1 gear ratio model. The SLX 6.3:1 models provide anglers with 12 pounds of stopping power, while the HG and XG models offer 11 pounds of drag — enough to put the brakes on even the most determined trophy fish. Shipping
Free shipping for orders over $100.00 in continental United States, EXCLUDING rods, blanks and other oversize items. We offer UPS for Rods and Reels due to delivery concerns. Small rods and reels will ship by USPS. All Rods and Reels require Signature Confirmation.
$25 flat rate shipping for rods and blanks. When ordering multiple rods and/or blanks, we will consolidate packaging. If the shipment price is lower than the actual shipping quote, we will refund the difference.
Shipping and delivery dates are based on the Availability of the items and the Shipping option. Orders normally take 1-2 business days to process for shipping. Random authentication via phone may take place for quality and customer security.
When ordering, please plan ahead as unforeseen delays, damage, or loss can happen with any carrier. For urgent orders, please contact us directly by phone prior for order placement so that we can accommodate your needs.

Returns & Exchanges
Only New and Unused items returned within 30 days of delivery qualify for refund or exchange. Original box, papers, parts, tag and other packaging have to be returned with the product in the condition they were received in. Spooled fishing reels are non-returnable & non-refundable. Refunds and exchanges will take place within a week after inspection.
